Whiskey or Wine

Beach side hanging with some friends of mine
Some chugging whiskey and some sipping wine
With summer gold up in the sky
As sunset falls the fish will fry

‚Äč

“Whiskey or wine?” The barman yells
“This ones on me!” So ring your bell
Nothing but good times here tonight
Just old friends and warm moonlight

The ocean is our friend tonight
The moonlight shows our way
Playing tunes that we all know
Let’s drink to love and another day

Whiskey or wine? The night is young
The dance floor’s hopping, the lights are hung
The ladies smile and they make a show
The boys are tipsy and much too slow

Whiskey or wine? And another tale
When morning comes we’ll raise our sails
Moonlight, friends and fond goodbyes
Make a toast to the summer skies
